Detailed information about features:
This detached 3 bedroom Victorian stone cottage, with more modern extensions and improvements has air source heat pump central heating, solar hot water and 4kW solar PV panels. Recently the cement render was replaced with new cork-impregnated exterior lime render which has greatly improved the thermal insulation of the house. Our house’s EPC rating has risen from E to D, without taking account of the insulating lime render, which is too new for the government software to use! The house also has a third of an acre of organic wildlife garden with a variety of trees and shrubs (including fruit), lawn including wildflower meadow, borders, small pond and a greenhouse. Many wild flowers and woodland plants among trees. Small amount of vegetables. Views of the Skirrid, Sugar Loaf and Blorenge from the garden.
