Novalux Energy installed a 44kW log boiler to provide heat and hot water to an office, workshop and farmhouse on this organic farm. The site also has a 10kW solar PV array, with a diverter installed to divert excess solar power into heating the domestic water supply.

From M48
After crossing ‘Old’ Severn >Bridge from England, take first exit (M48 Junction 2) and follow signs to Monmouth on A466.
At 2nd roundabout (opposite Chepstow Racecourse) turn Left onto B4293 and follow signs to Devauden and Trelleck.
After approximately 7.0 to 7.5 miles is the village of Llanishen.
Pass through LLANISHEN village, with the Carpenter’s Arms pub on left and a garage on right. Carry on out of village and in the 2nd field on the left (after last house in village and approximately 0.5 mile past garage) is a drive on the far side of that field.
The house and buildings are down this drive. Please park on the left after the first building; the offices and workshops are over to the right behind the farmhouse.
From M4
From Junction 24 M4 take A449 for Monmouth/Usk
After 7.5 to 8.0 miles take the Usk exit then immediate right onto the B4235 for Chepstow
After approximately 1.0 mile the main road bears to the right at Gwernesney, leave the main road and carry straight on to Llansoy/Gliding Club
Approximately 1.5 - 2 miles later, at cross-roads, turn right up a hill. Carry on a further 3.0 – 4.0 miles up the hill to a ‘T’ junction.
At ‘T’ junction turn Left onto B4293 towards TRELLECK / MONMOUTH
The next village is LLANISHEN, with the Carpenter’s Arms pub on left and a garage on right. Carry on out of village and in the 2nd field on the left (after last house in village and approximately 0.5 mile past garage) is a drive on the far side of that field.

From M50 / A40
On A40 by-pass Monmouth (on right) and 0.5 mile after traffic lights bear Left following signs to Trelleck (just before tunnel).
At end of slip road continue Left and after 0.25 mile (and series of tight bends) turn Left onto B4293 towards Trelleck.
After approximately 1.25 miles after leaving Trelleck (passing a turning for Parkhouse on the left and a small crossroads signed Higga to the left and Pant Glas with a barn conversion to the right) continue for 100m then turn Right into the drive of little Penarth Farm that follows edge of field to the house, office and outbuildings.
(If you pass Carpenter’s Arms on right you have gone 0.5 mile too far)
